I am a software developer by trade, computer scientist by education. My background is in Ruby on Rails, React, and C++.

I am passionate about meaningful, expressive software solutions. Making the machine understand is just the first step. Writing such that it provides optimal value to all stakeholders is the ideal I strive for.

Development Environment

My work machine is a Macbook Pro with Alacritty/bash/tmux/neovim (see the dotfiles). At home, I use a custom assembled PC with openSUSE Tumbleweed, as well as a self-built NAS (Supermicro mainboard, Proxmox on ZFS, CoreOS VM with Podman) for backups and other internal services. I type on a white Ergodox EZ keyboard with unlabeled keys, with Cherry MX Silent Red switches.
